Administrative Support Assistant II- Student Counseling Center
Assists the clinical and administration staff in the Student Counseling Center by acting as receptionist for students coming to the center to access services and completing other support activities as appropriate to ensure smooth operation of the center. Answer phone calls; Assist students, parents, and other university staff with questions; Check students in for appointments and schedule follow-up sessions; Monitor department email account and correspond with students and parents. Maintain staff schedules both by assisting in making the schedule and by rescheduling students and other meetings as needed; Maintaining department calendar such as updating rooms reservations; Make photocopies; Distribute mail, Take messages; Monitor office supplies and maintain front office area. Provide input on improvement initiatives (such as scheduling, drop-in services, etc.); Complete other occasional special projects such as creating fliers for specialized therapy groups.
